Record review: Naked Strangers – ‘Mystery Meat’

‘Mystery Meat’ by Ullapool five-piece Naked Strangers is a bluesy, easy-going yet confident affair, featuring Matt Stock’s distinctive punky twang and a gutsy melody to boot.

Drawing influences form early Strokes and The White Stripes, Stock’s deep-rooted southern-style drawl sets them worlds apart from other artist on the Scottish music scene.

Lock up your daughters, Naked Strangers seem like the types to ravish your women, loot your liquor store, and have a jolly good time in the process.
