Snitching currents of rock n’ roll into a pool of fuzz and defiantly devilish sampled guitar riffs, Scottish producer Cameron Laing aka the mastermind behind The Cat That Walks Alone has vibrantly managed to assimilate a sound that is both cool and relevant, yet doing it in an uncompromising climate of psychedelic 1960s styling on latest single ‘Let’s Go’.
Having worked with a sterling line up of acts over the past few years, which include the Vaccines and the New Devices, as well as being the first radio DJ to give air coverage to the likes of Biffy Clyro, Glasvegas and KT Tunstall, it is noticeable upon listening to ‘Let’s Go’ that Laing has figured the knack of writing a well produced and embellished slab of quirky music.
If you like your tunes full of flirtatiously dangerous vibes, then you could do far worse than check out this latest offering from The Cat That Walks Alone.
