‘Some Kinds Of People’ is a new engaging and energetic release from Edinburgh four-piece, The Hemulens.
The single, which comes with an equally enjoyable B-side, ‘She Said’, combines rock n’ roll vocals with lively guitars to great effect.
The band, who get their name from a set of characters from Tove Jansson’s Moomin series, received funding from Creative Scotland to record this single and you can tell it was put to good use and shows what a good studio and good production can bring to a song.
A 40-second instrumental mid-way through really allows their catchy and captivating riffs to take centre stage.
This upbeat tune is guaranteed to have crowds dancing along.
